Business is Slow...

Not much happening around here, sorry for the lack of updates.  Mission 6 is out of reach, somebody snagged the claim on San Francisco before we could get to it, and civilian life remains consistently time-consuming.  Needless to say, I'm getting antsy.  Perhaps some solo villainy is in order.  It's been a while since I last climbed the school buildings....  Maybe a little quiet time on the roofs at night will do me some good.  I do love it up there.  And as M always said, stay up high and keep eyes open, right?

Updating the Unlocked Memories and documents tonight as well, then off to sleep.  Wish me luck actually getting any.

In Which Outcast Returns to Existence

Damn civilian life.  Damn civilian life and it's responsibilities and it's endlessly infuriating habit of getting in the way of my work.  So much to catch up on, so much to research, so many places to mark and people to punch and missions to accomplish....

But enough about the ironic stress of my "vacation".  Back to work.  Back to what I know.  Back to what I do best.

Thanatos has posed a very interesting challenge for us.  'Tick Tock Total World Domination'.  I must say I admire the attempted alliteration, even if it didn't quite pull through.  Perhaps 'Tick Tock Total Totalitarianism'?  No, that's just silly, and prompts me with the urge to rant about the government.  Which is apparently becoming Blackwood's thing.

On to Mission Five's details.  Our options range all over the world: Australia, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, and our dear old US of A.  Obviously, Blackwood, ai.r, and I are more partial to the targeted cities in the USA, especially the one conveniently located less than an hour away!  Now, I'm not much one to let my emotions rule my job, but I'd be lying if I said I'm not excited for this.  Finally a task that involves going out and doing something.

However, the time crunch has me nervous.  Who knows where the Truth Soldiers could be lurking?  They could be on their way to claiming our San Francisco as I sit here, typing away each second to failure.

And I really don't take failure well.  Ask my accomplices any day.  You could call my bottled rage suppressed competitive edge a hubris of sorts.

Oh, and as for your last post, Blackwood.  I am, uh... sorry I caused you... concern.  But I can take care of myself without you two worrying over me.

...and I suppose I missed you both a little too.

So, nobody's been talking.

Good evening Babydolls.
I address you from a different side of the ocean than I usually do - I also address you despite the fact that my head is pounding just looking at a computer screen.
What I do for you people.

So, we got the emails. And we haven't done anything with them yet, since at the current moment, we're all separated (and the only reliable scanner of said boxes is my mother's phone). Yes, I know, we're being bad, but we should be back in commission Monday or so. I personally don't get out of here until Tuesday, but Outcast has spontaneously gone missing and we think she'll be back on the first of the week (but dear, we miss you...if you don't want roaming charges at least say so, so I at least know where you are).

Wondercon was lovely. The thrill of being a villain among heroes and having nobody know was greater than I expected it to be (especially when some of them wanted pictures. Oh the things they'll never know...).
Unfortunately, that many people all gathered up is an inevitable breeding ground for illness. So right now, I'm bedridden with what I hear people call the "Con-plauge" - aka we have no idea what it is but we feel terrible so let's put a label on it. Ai.r and I, despite being together basically the whole weekend, ended up getting two different things. How? We're not sure.
But god I feel terrible. I need to go back to sleep.
Anyways, don't expect posts from us for the next week or so. Outcast is basically MIA, ai.r and I are sick, and we're all in various locations and can't get in contact.

So goodnight Babydolls.

With love,
~Blackwood
